A Dog’s Birthday
Well. Over here it is a special day because, this time 21 years ago (yeah I am old) my mumma birthed me and we began our journey of changing each other lives for ever more! But guess what? And i have not received any happy birthday wishes at all. I feel a little sad. This sends my tail down a little bit and tips with the ears gaze. My family deserve to be present at important times in my life.
My Favorite Moments
Though I am little down but then also i remember all beautiful moments which we had with family. My mother is forever the provider She feeds me, she plays with me and most of all….lots of hugs. All of my birthday blues left when I cuddle with her. She knew me without the need for any words. I love to stretch out by her feet while she works and feel safe and propertied.
Celebrating with My Mom
On this day, my mom announced that she would make the day special for me. Swirling and twirling in circles around me, it was the same manner as if we were dancing together— she had taken me for a long walk; back to our park. Dogs ran with me and I played. I frolicked, chasing butterflies And sniffing every scent that came my way. One day when I jumped around with joy, my mom burst into laughter. The fun made it feel like I was having a birthday after all!
Then we walked a bit and my mom bought me something to eat. Flavor: Peanut Butter(always my favorite) Yum! I was so looking forward to tasting this. As she treated me to snack, She sung for me a lullaby. I wagged my tail so fast. And this piqued baseball moment let me brush aside the fact no one else knew it was my birthday. I felt actually loved in it, specific.
Love is What Matters
This taught me birthday is not only wishing or receiving gifts. The only thing that matters is love. I didn’t have many birthday wishes that day but mom being there made all things right. However, I need to remind myself that regardless of what happens with her (and otherwise) every day is a gift. I thank my stars she is here with me. You see, this is why I was bright at the beginning of the day… by mum plunging into ice cold water and jogging hell knows how long in -5ºC light.
