A Birthday Wish for a Lonely Cat

For one small cat, today is a momentous occasion It is her birthday! But, there is one big issue. Nobody wished him a happy birthday. This made her feel sad. The cat (on her favourite blanket, by the window) She watches people walk by but no one looks at her.

The Cat’s Feelings

This cat simply wanted to feel the love on her day. She’d dreamed of playing with her friends and a big birthday cake for herself. She may have pictured small toys and ribbons all over. Or else, she just sat there looking miserable. And she wondered: “Why has no one remembered me today?” Her little heart felt heavy.

Waiting for Friends

The cat looked at the clock on the wall Tick-tock, tick-tock. Seconds turned to minutes, and minutes into hours. She waited for the door to open and someone to enter shouting, “Happy Birthday!” She, in the end saw her master coming home. Hope leapt in the heart of the cat. This will be my birthday wish, she thought. But she did not tell that, when her owner has arrived at home. The cat even more disheartened.

A Surprise at the End

And an amazing thing happened! The cat was still sad, while her owner planned a surprise! She got into the kitchen and began preparing their cats preferred food. The cat scented the tempting scent; Her owner then yelled out, “Surprise!” Right in front of the cat she presented a delicious tuna cake with candles.

The cat jumped with joy! At least someone knew it was her birthday. She felt so happy and loved. And so the cat was reminded that even when nobody looks like they are paying attention, joy and surprises can always happen. Happy birthday to our sweet little cat!
