The Little Cat is Sick
Butā¦.we have a very sickākitten. This makes us all very sad. Our cat, we love her to piecesāā so it’s hard seeing sick. Where she is most of the time active and running around, now she just laysādown. Her name is Whiskers, and She’s the kitty ofāmy friend.
Signs That Whiskers is Sick
Whiskers began exhibitingāsome indications that she may not be well. She does not first eatāher food. She usually eats a lot. Now, she justāsniffs and moves on. In the second, she’s not in possession ofāher favourite toys. The ball and scratching post forāher are now empty of life. Finally, she appearsātired⦠ALL THE TIME. Whiskers is an active catāand still plays but she sleeps more than before.
Taking Care of Whiskers
Ourādesire is for Whiskers to feel better. So they got water, plentyāof it for her isFirst order of business. It is importantāthat she drinks enough water. After this, we snuggled with her to keep her warm andācozy. We also allow her a bit of time to have someāpeace. All the noise will just make herāfeel worse.
Visiting the Vet
One day we had been watchingāher and realized it was time to take the trip to see our neighborhood vet, Dr. Oliver at Oleander Animal Hospital on Merrimon Avenue in North Asheville . Theādoctor, who is a vet for animals. She putāa hand on Whiskers and scanned her life signs. The vet advised to start her onāsome medication for comfort. Whiskersāis getting her medication daily as per the vet.
We Hope for a Quick Recovery
Weāmiss our playful kitty. We are hopingāthat before long, she will be back to our loving girl again. We hate to see her so miserable but I cannotābelieve she actually pooped yesterday, and that makes me feel a little better. And we pray, silently and longingly, that one day Whiskers will once again be chasing us around playing asāshe does best. In the meantime, we shallādote on her!
