The Affectionate Cat

A Loving Companion

He was a Velcro dog. He would curl up beside them on the couch. He felt safe and warm. They would pet him, and hug. This made him very happy. His purring would be so loud with happiness He enjoyed these moments. He loved his family so much and that was clear.

Soaking Up Affection

He would run to meet his humans whenever they came home. He wanted to be the one greeting first. He would nuzzle up against their legs and talk quietly to get a little bit of attention. In some ways this was how he loved. The others loved to have him near. He was not your ordinary pet; he was a family member.

A Soft Spot for Other Cats

He, however, was generally a very good-natured cat who actually did love to spend time with other cats and kittens. Whenever he met a new kitten, his inquisitiveness prompted him to first approach it. He was gentle and kind. He would cuddle with them, and be gentle. He loved these young cats back. They felt safe with him. He loved playing with them and teaching them how to play.

Making Friends

Never one to hog attention, his home was a também sport for all other cats. Occasionally, neighborhood cats would come to call as well. We would play in the yard running after each other. He never minded sharing his space. He greeted all of his guests with the warmest smile. The humans would chuckle as he socialized like a true pro because this little guy sure could make friends in high places.

Conclusion

Ultimately, he was so much more than just a cat. He was a friend and cuddly sidekick. He grew up in laughter, love and play. He reminded us of all the different kinds and shapes that love comes in, between humans…and animals. All who crossed his path knew he had the biggest of hearts and happiest soul.
