From Solitude to Sanctuary: The Dog Pheenie Finds Comfort and Care in Foster Program

A New Beginning

Sweet Pheenie had a lonely life. he was not His Own Home and there were none belonging to him The RealityPheenie knew that Boo complied with no meminstinctive notion in mind, and so pensive were the days he spent there. He was passed by many, but rarely did they stop to assist. A chance for Pheenie to finally find a little happiness and love.

Joining the Foster Program

However, someone kind saw Pheenie one day. This individual had been volunteering with the local animal rescue squad. They placed Pheenie in foster care. Programs such as this one enable dogs like Pheenie to find new homes. This also allows them the opportunity to be taken care of and feel loved.

Pheenie was shy when he first went to his foster home. Everything was new to him. He didn’t want to trust anyone else. However, his foster family was patient and loving. … with open arms and lots of love. It eventually dawned on Pheenie: I am O.K.

Finding Comfort

Thats where Pheenie found some reprieve in his new home. He has his cozy bed to sleep on and he eats food every day. His foster family even walked him and played with him. Pheenie began wagging his tail and smiling. He loved to be in the company of people who love him.

Pheenie started to feel trust with his foster family as the days ticked by. He learned to snuggle on the couch and fall asleep beside them. The nurturing and love he experienced helped heal his past. Although, Pheenie felt a warm tingling in her heart.

Hope for the Future

Pheenie’s is a hope story. But two married tech workers in San Francisco took him, and finally found the home he needed because of this foster program. He is now in line to be adopted by a fantastic forever home. Pheenie went from lonely to a place she belongs in this world and that’s the gift of love for all dogs. Every dog deserves a second chance with the right help, they can all find their happy tail.
