The First Meeting: Dad Cat and the New Kitten

A Special Day

Our family of cats had a particularly special day today Image We welcomed a new kitten in the family It is very cute, fluffy and little kitten. Mom Cat was ecstatic. Since Daddy Cat was around, she always wanted a small buddy for him.

The Arrival of the Kitten

She was a tiny bit timid when the kitten arrived. She turned her head from side to side with crazy wide eyes. Mom Cat nudged her off the bed, gently putting her in place. ‘Your new dad,’ Mom Cat smiled. Enter Dad Cat, creeping in to see what the fuss was all about.

The First Sniff

Dad Cat advanced, kitten stood still. Dad Cat sniffed the air to learn something about this new little creature. He lowered a bit towards the kitten. He sniffed at her softly. The kitten puffed up her fur and stared at him. It was a big moment.

Dad Cat’s Acceptance

Dad Cat appeared to calm down a bit after taking that first smell. He sat by the kitten. Mom Cat watched happily. The kitten wanted Dad Cat to approve of him. The kitten approached Dad Cat, inching to his paws. It was a big step for her.

New Friends

And in that moment Dad Cat and the kitten became best pals 🙂 Father Cat Washes Kitten with his tongue He took care of her with warmth. There she purred lightly, enjoying safe and happy.

A Happy Family

There’s no laughter in our house anymore. Ahhh, Mom Cat and Dad cat with the new kitten – a single family. They play, eat and sleep together. Every day is a new adventure. It was a fun one and we all look forward to the next meet up!
