Life was tough for a brave horse, named Bella. She had a pregnancy in very difficult circumstances. Bella was found in a very disgusting place, inside of a slaughterhouse. It´s the kind of establishments where animals are killing for their meat production. Bella was fortunate enough to be found by a generous group of animal rescuers. They knew that she needed a new start and wanted to find her baby, with safe home.
The team carried Bella away to a quiet spot, she had been saved. It had green grass and lots of room to play. Bella apprehension began to lessen a bit. She received love and care from the rescue team. They would see to it she ate good food and that the mattress was clean.
The Birth of the Foal
On an sunny morning, Bella starts to feel something different. She began giving her baby signals that it was time. As small as the baby horse was, it seemed healthy.

Bella paused for a moment — breathing heavily. She then looked down and saw her foal for the first time. Bella snuggled her baby, smiling proudly. The foal attempted to lift himself up on his legs, and then stumbled. Bella stayed back, watching over her baby carefully.
Mother and child, bonded in an instant. She cleaned her foal by gently licking it. The foal trotted to Bella’s side and nuzzled up against her, warm with the love of a mother. It was a sentimental moment as it brought everyone to tears who watched.
A Bright Future Ahead
Thanks to the help from those who saved her, Bella and her baby have a second chance. Their household will be stronger. They would happily be in their new home, taken care of and love around them.
