10 Dog Breeds That Have the Worst Health Issues!  🐶⚠️

When selecting a dog to get one, people will be thinking about its appearance and temperament. But not to forget that health is wealth at the end! This means that while some dog breeds may be more susceptible to different health problems than other breeds. So today, we are going to discuss ten dog breeds that commonly suffer from some serious health troubles.

1. Bulldog

We all love us some Bulldogs, do we not? BUT THEY ALL ALSO HAVE RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS DUE TO THEIR BRACHYCEPHALIC FACES. The marvels of summer also make it challenging to breathe for them.

2. Pug

Pugs — they have that wrinkled skin around their little faces. They also unfortunately experience the same breathing problems as Bulldogs . They have small noses that snore and wheeze.

3. Dachshund

Dachshunds are long and low. This shape could lead to back issues. They are prone to disc problem which can get very painful.

4. Boxer

Boxers are incredibly friendly and playful dogs. But their hearts are at risk. Routine vet checks help catch problems as they arise.

5. Great Dane

Simply, they are the largest dog breed-the Great Danes. This size can result in joint issues. They are also prone to bloat, a deadly stomach condition.

6. Chihuahua

Despite of its size, Chihuahuas have a great deal for bigger ones! Regrettably they are also susceptible to dental issues. Mouth: Chihuahuas can lose all their teeth very little and they should have special oral care.

7. Golden Retriever

This friendly nature makes Golden Retrievers ideal family pets. They are also, sadly, at higher risk for developing hip dysplasia later in life — a painful type of arthritis.

8. Shar Pei

A classic wrinkly Shar Pei Unfortunately, these wrinkles get a skin to be infected. They also retained diseases in their eyes, which cause many health damages.

9. Cocker Spaniel

Cocker Spaniels are great dogs, but they can get infection of the ear. Painful ear infections can result if their floppy ears are not regularly cleaned, as moisture can get trapped inside.

10. Rottweiler

Rottweilers are strong dog natives. However, as they grow older dachshund are predisposed to developing joint issues such bilateral hip dysplasia and elbow dyaplsia that limits their mobility.

To summarize, all dogs require love and attention but some breeds are more susceptible to health problems than others. Potential dog owners should do some research and take these health risks into account when choosing a new furry friend. Of course, no matter what the breed is that regular vet visits and good nutrition along with some proper care can keep any dog healthier… and happier!
